She trained for the diaconate at St Michael’s College Llandaff and initially served in the Diocese of Swansea and Brecon in the Church in Wales before coming to the Diocese of Chichester sixteen years ago.

Clare Rabjohns read theology at Exeter University. She is pastoral assistant at the parish of St Gabriel, Pimlico. She has a great passion for work with children and young people and is often to be found singing along to the music of CJM at the Walsingham Youth Pilgrimage and Children’s Pilgrimage. She is the editor of The Province, the magazine of Credo Cymru.

A reader draws our attention to Fr Peter Needham’s sponsored walk from York to his parish at Grimethorpe. Fr Needham (pictured below) will carry a large cross on this walk of witness and is hoping to raise more funds to complete the repair work to St Luke’s, Grimethorpe. Fr Needham reminds us all that the Church is central to our communities and often is one of the few organizations to remain after spending cuts. If you wish to support him you are directed to <www. stlukesfund.com>.

And finally... we would very much like to hear about what is going on in your parish and in particular any mission projects you are involved in. The Editor is always happy to hear from people and can be contacted at <nd.editor@ forwardinfaith.com>. ND
