The Society is launched

in the North West

On the 1st of December, from across the North West, members of the Mission Society of St Wilfrid and St Hilda gathered in Preston Minster for the launch of The Society in the North West. The Mass was of ĎAll the Saintsí and was attended by over two hundred lay people, twenty concelebrating priests, two Bishops and a Deacon. The Company of Voyces sang a Mass setting by Lyndon Hills. Over forty new members joined The Society. The Bishop of Burnley spoke about the future in a resoundingly hopeful fashion, underlined by the Bishop of Blackburn who offered his words of hope and encouragement.
